About Us

Renew Democracy Initiative (“RDI”) is a 501(c)(3) non-partisan, idea-advocacy organization committed to defending democracy in the Free World, combatting authoritarianism abroad, and highlighting how they intersect. The organization unites Americans across the political spectrum in defense of democratic ideals.

We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our team as our Project Manager to help drive the execution of external-facing projects. The goal is to make sure that all stakeholders (both internal and external) are on the same page, documents are centrally located and updated, and that everyone is fully informed so that deadlines are met.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans for leadership and team members, including developing processes and organizational systems as needed.
  • Detail project scope, feasibility, goals, expectations, costs, responsibilities, and challenges.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs as needed.
    Track project performance and develop measures of success to analyze the progress towards short and long-term goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, relevant stakeholders, and third parties/vendors.
  • Manage and organize project files on RDI’s CRM.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager.
  • Passion for organization, problem solving, and managing multiple moving projects.
  • Strong aptitude for various forms of technology (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, project management and professional softwares such as Airtable).
  • Preferably located in NYC or DC and/or willingness to travel.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
