Serge Kharytonau

Media Manager

Serge joined the RDI team in 2023 as the Media Manager. With professional background in TV journalism and documentary filmmaking, he previously worked with RFE/RL, CNN, and New York-based film productions that create documentaries for Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and other major streaming services. He also served as media expert and communications consultant for a variety of private clients and international organizations including the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Serge holds LL.M. degree in International Law from Birmingham Law School (the University of Birmingham, UK) and MA degree in News & Documentary from New York University (USA). In the past decade, Serge was a fellow with the German Marshall Fund of the United States (USA), the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (UK), NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute (USA), and Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (Qatar).
