The Poisoning of Russian Opposition: We Stand With Navalny

Last week, Russian opposition leader and corruption activist Alexei Navalny was deliberately poisoned in a suspected assasination attempt. He joins a long list of individuals who got on the wrong side of Vladimir Putin’s authoritarian regime:

Pussy Riot activist Pyotr Verzilov (poisoned by an unknown but highly toxic substance, in 2018); former Russian intelligence agent, Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, (poisoned with Novichok, a chemical-warfare agent, in 2018); former deputy Prime Minister, Boris Nemtsov (shot in 2015); former Russian intelligence agent, Alexander Litvinenko (poisoned with polonium in 2006); journalist Anna Politkovskaya (shot to death in 2006).

Appeasement doesn’t stop dictators. The free world must.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
