Liberal democracy is losing.
We're fighting back.
Liberal democracy is losing ground, and we can't say that we're surprised. Liberal has practically become a slur among extremists of all stripes. That's why we're launching FOFcon—the Future of Freedom Convention—on December 9-10 in Washington D.C., where we'll be laying the blueprint for everything that a free society can be.
It's easy to call out bad guys but simply stating what you're against lends extremists a monopoly on inspiration. It's time to offer a positive vision for what a free society should look like. Liberalism is more than the vanilla of political flavors. It can be the engine that promotes human flourishing, protects minorities, advances ideological diversity, and guarantees personal agency.
At FOFcon, you'll have the chance to:
Speak with military leaders about what it takes to cultivate an esprit de corps, motivating men and women to risk their lives for an idea bigger than themselves.
See how religious leaders inspire the faith and devotion that build movements.
Debate everything from the radicalism of the American Revolution to a positive vision for AI—yes, debate, because disagreement sharpens our ability to fight.
Engage with our dissident community because who better to talk about what democracy can achieve than those who have lived without it?
Two days of the people who have actually paid a price for the idea — dissidents, lawmakers, officers, journalists — in one building.

In-kind support — travel, lodging, catering, printing, photography, video, technology, media — is welcome too. Talk to AnneElyse DeArment.
