Caitlin Forrest

Director of the Frontlines of Freedom Program
Caitlin Forrest is the Director of the Frontlines of Freedom program. Prior to joining RDI, she spent two years in North Carolina supporting the development teams at the Council for Children’s Rights and Charlotte’s NPR News Station, WFAE. She previously spent several years at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), a non-profit think-tank focused on advancing an informed understanding of military affairs through reliable research, trusted analysis, and innovative education. Before moving to business operations, Caitlin was a Counterterrorism Research Analyst at ISW focused on the Taliban and ISIS in Afghanistan. She published ISW’s Afghanistan Partial Threat Assessment map series, and her work has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Reuters, and others.
