Linda Chavez

Linda Chavez served as Director of Public Liaison in the Reagan White House and was the U.S. Expert to the United Nations Human RIghts Sub-Committee on The Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities. She currently chairs the Center for Equal Opportunity in Washington DC. Chavez is the author of four books, wrote a nationally syndicated column for thirty years, and continues to write frequently on immigration, civil rights, and politics. She served on NYSE and NASDAQ boards for twenty-five years and presently sits on a number of non-profit boards. In 2000 Chavez was recognized by the Library of Congress as a Living Legend for her contribution to America's cultural and historical legacy.
